FAQ’s

Where will you travel to? Quite literally anywhere in the world.
What type and size venues are you able to play at? No event is too big or small. Venues can range in size from small pubs and clubs for those intimate events to large hotel/function rooms and outdoor events for when your guest list never ends.
How much space do you require?

Stage

We haven't found a venue to date that we can't fit into but to be comfortable 5m x 3m or larger is great.

How long does it take you to set up or pack down? We can normally set up in 1 hour. If the venue has access restrictions or stairs it can impact on setup time.
How long do you perform for?

We normally perform for 2 hours with a break in between.

Set times can be flexible (2 x 60) (3 x 40) (30 + 90)

Will you learn our special song? Yes when possible we will learn and perform your special song live.
Can we use your sound system for speeches? Yes we can provide a microphone for speeches and announcements.
Are you able to DJ in between sets?

We provide disco / background music before, during and after the bands sets to help keep your guests entertained and dancing.

If you want that extra something for the ultimate party atmosphere we know some excellent DJ's that we can work with to really keep the party flowing.

Can I see you play live? A lot of events we play are private however we do play events open to the public. We always advertise these on our social media pages, please feel free to come along and say hello.
How do I book you? Drop us an email with as many details as you can and we will get back to you with a quote asap. We can then finalise all the details and confirm the booking.
Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates? Yes Paradox have full public liability insurance and all of our equipment is PAT tested.

What are the bands power requirements?

The band requires 32 amps of power at 220 - 240 volts reasonably close to the performance area.

This can be presented as 3 x separate 13 amp sockets

13 Amp 13 Amp 13 Amp

or 1 single phase 32 amp connector.

32 Amp

This roughly translates to a 10 KVA generator with a voltage regulator plus any other requirements you may have (catering, lighting).
